What to Wear:

I want to capture you as you really are, so please wear whatever makes you feel comfortable!
Here are a few general guidelines/ideas that may help if you are still not sure: :)

Families: Pick a color or two and have everyone wear something that coordinates. A few family members can wear different patterns or prints that incorporate that color (but please no logos since they can be really distracting), while other family members stick with solids.

Babies/Children: I love bright and bold colors! Even prints look GREAT on kids! Little girls in bright dresses and leggings always looks adorable! I do love a little boy in a tie, converse shoes and fun hats! Again, feel free to bring along a favorite stuffed animal, toy or blanket! Bring anything you feel would make a fun prop!

Newborns: I really love naked babies (strategically posed of course) or just a diaper/diaper cover. Whatever you are most comfortable with.  Crocheted hats or pretty headbands with flowers or bows are great accessories too (and you can find soooo maybe cute styles on Etsy.com). If you have a particular outfit in mind, special blankets/quilts, stuffed animals please let me know! I'd love to show your little one with something that means something to you!

Maternity: I think long flowy dresses are just beautiful! Solids and patterns both look pretty (as long as the pattern isn't too busy).  If you're not comfortable in dresses, anything form-fitting that shows off your belly is perfect. Feel free to accessorize with necklaces, bracelets, sweaters or jackets. If you are wanting some bare belly pictures remember to bring along an extra shirt, tank or tube top! If dad is going to be in the pictures, have him wear a solid color shirt that matches one of the colors in moms dress or outfit. Older siblings can coordinate with mom as well! Also, you may want to bring small props with you like ultrasound pictures, baby booties, or block letters.

Seniors: Pick some clothes that really represent you! Anything that shows your style and personality! Don't forget to think in terms of outfits and even your best colors! Feel free to bring along a few different outfits! Fashion trends are really fun, but maybe bring along at least one outfit that's not obviously trendy. You know how fashion is, "one day you're in, the next day you're out"...down the road you might be happier with a variety of styles!
